Explore Our Services
At The Informed Parent Consulting, we offer specialized programs carefully designed to each individual’s needs and circumstances. We offer flexible formats such as one-on-one coaching, short-term action plans, ongoing partnerships, and workshops, all delivered in-person or virtually to fit your schedule and comfort level.
We offer a range of services to meet the needs of every family. Families are often ready for support long before it becomes available, and delays in accessing behavioral care can make a hard situation harder. The Informed Parent Co. offers timely, individualized behavioral services for children and adolescents, delivered in-home, at school, or online, so families aren't left waiting.
-
The earliest years are when small, consistent support makes the biggest difference. We work directly with your preschooler through functional behavior assessments and 1:1 ABA sessions, building foundational skills through play-based, child-led sessions that meet them right where they are.
-
School brings new demands, academic, social, and emotional all at once. Our behavior support planning, school and daycare consultation, and independent educational evaluations help your child build the skills to succeed in the classroom and carry that confidence into everyday life.
-
Adolescence is where independence starts to take shape. We guide teens and young adults through post-secondary transition planning, hands-on independence training, and adult services navigation, so the shift out of school-based support is a plan with a clear path forward.
-
Parenting doesn't pause between sessions, and you shouldn't have to figure it out alone. Through one-on-one coaching, we walk alongside you as you navigate a new diagnosis, work through challenging moments, or prepare for the transition into adult services, with gentle, practical strategies that fit naturally into your family's day.
-
Behavior always has a reason behind it, even when it's hard to see in the moment. An FBA looks closely at what's happening before, during, and after a behavior to understand what your child is really communicating, so the support that follows actually addresses the root cause instead of just the surface.
-
When you're navigating your child's IEP, it helps to have someone in your corner who isn't tied to the school system. An independent evaluation gives you a clear, outside perspective on your child's adaptive behavioral needs, so you can advocate for the right support with confidence and clarity.
-
We work directly with your child's teachers, daycare providers, or school team to make sure the strategies that work at home actually carry over into the classroom, and the other way around. Whether your child is struggling to adjust to a new setting or you just want everyone working from the same playbook, we help close the gap between home and school.
Our Process
Plan with Purpose
Together, we outline a path forward for your family that’s realistic, strategic, and tailored to your child specific needs.
Collaborate Openly
Every plan starts with your child, not a checklist. We build each behavior support plan, evaluation, and coaching session around what your child actually shows us, and we keep you part of that process every step of the way.
Initial Consultation
We'll meet to review your child's documentation, current supports, and long-term goals, so we understand the full picture before recommending next steps.
A Plan Around Your Child
Together, we'll decide which service fits best, whether that's an assessment, an evaluation, or ongoing coaching, and get started with a plan you're part of from day one.
